  1. Files Prior to Installation:

  3. README.DOC - Instructions for installing the program.
  4.  
  5. INSTALL.BAT - batch file which is used to install the program and
  6. its associated files.
  7.  
  8. PKUNZIP.EXE - the program which decompresses the PCMONEY files.
  9.  
  10. PCMONEY.ZIP - compressed version of PCMONEY and all its
  11. associated files.
  12.  
  13. Files after Installation:
  14.  
  15. PCMONEY.EXE - The main program file.  Contains the Bank
  16. Management, Tax Management, Home Business, and Initialization
  17. sections of PCMONEY. Required for running the other two program
  18. modules.
  19.  
  20. PCMONEY2.EXE - Program module that contains the Income Tax
  21. Consolidating/Estimating section of the program. Is run from the
  22. Main Menu of PCMONEY.
  23.  
  24. PCMONEY3.EXE - Program module that contains the Stock and Bond
  25. sections of PCMONEY.  Is run from the Main Menu of PCMONEY.
  26.  
  27. BRUN45.EXE - Microsoft Corp. run-time file.  Required for running
  28. the above programs.

  30. PCMONEY1.HLP - The "Help" messages for PCMONEY.EXE.
  31.  
  32. PCMONEY2.HLP - The "Help" messages for PCMONEY2.EXE and
  33. PCMONEY3.EXE.
  34.  
  35. BANK183.DAT - the first bank file for 1983 (the familiarization
  36. and training file included with PCMONEY)  When you start your own
  37. files, they will be given the number you designate ( 1 to 9) and
  38. current year (e.g. BANK191.DAT for the first checking account
  39. file in 1991.)
  40.  
  41. TAXES83.DAT - the file that contains income tax information.  The
  42. current year is appended to the word "TAXES".  TAXES83 is a
  43. training file.
  44.  
  45. SMITH83.ACC, SMITH83.PRJ - Files created by the Home Business
  46. section of the program.  The first contains the Journal activity,
  47. the second contains the list of project names.  The name SMITH83
  48. is a home business normally included with PCMONEY for
  49. familiarization and training.  When you start your own business
  50. files, they will be named with the name you select, with the .ACC
  51. and .PRJ extensions.
  52.  
  53. TAXTABLE.91 - The Tax Table file for 1991.  Used with the Income
  54. Tax Estimating portion of the program.
  55.  
  56. BONDS83. DTA - The bond portfolio file.  The current year (or
  57. year you designate if the current year isn't wanted) is appended
  58. to the word "BONDS" and the DTA extension is added by the
  59. program.
  60.  
  61. SMITH83.DTA - A typical name for a Stock Portfolio file.  The
  62. name preceding the DTA extension (which is added by the program)
  63. can be any valid DOS file name.
